ObamaCare 4th Down and 10 for Passage Before Congressional Recess

by Jose DeJesus MD on July 21, 2009

With Congress moving toward its August summer recess, President Obama is pushing hard to get a health care reform through Congress before it breaks for its own summer vacation.  Since voting seems destined to go along party lines and public support is ebbing for President Obama’s handling of this matter, Democrats are reluctant to take full credit or blame for what is currently estimated as costing over $1 trillion.  It is more likely that this topic will be debated after the summer recess, which will give us more time to push for something targeted at helping those who need the most help rather than a budget buster that this administration has not demonstrated that it can fund, much less manage it.  See the full article (and video coverage of of the President’s news conference, in case you missed it) and add your comments on this important matter. >> ( MDinfoNews.com ) Click here to read the full article >>
